In the Chapel of the Cheshire Regiment in the south transept of the Cathedral, Chester, Cheshire.

Description

Two memorials to those of the Cheshire Regiment who lost their lives in Northern Ireland (and in Dhofar) in the 20th century. One carved in the stone wall of the Chapel names two soldiers who drowned in Belfast in 1909. The other painted on a wooden panel names those who have died since 1945, mainly in Northern Ireland.
