On Books Lane (near Road Beta), Middlewich, and close to the location of the former Brunner Mond Works.

Description

A cenotaph in white stone. It is inscribed with the names of employees of the Middlewich Works of the Brunner Mond company who died in the two World Wars.

Notes

In 1927 the Brunner Mond company became Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI). Their Middlewich works closed in 1962. The monument is located close to the former location of the works.
