War Memorial, St. Mary Magdalene, Alsager, Cheshire.

War Memorial, St. Mary Magdalene, Alsager, Cheshire.

Location

In St Mary Magdalene's church, Alsager, Cheshire.

Description

A document, framed and hanging on the wall. It names those of the Parish who fell in both world wars. The writer used a very elaborate script, making the initials difficult to decipher. Not a major problem because the names on this document are the same as those on Alsager's main war memorial.

The church also has an interesting memorial, in cast metal, showing the effects of the war on one family, the Goss family.
