THIS GATE WAS ERECTED BY THE PARISHIONERS OF POTT SHRIGLEY 1920
AS A MEMORIAL OF THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918 AND TO COMMEMORATE ALL THOSE THEN BELONGING TO THE PARISH WHO SERVED THEIR KING & COUNTRY.
