War Memorial, Lymm, Cheshire.

Location

St Mary's Church, Lymm, Cheshire.

Description

A stone cross stands in the church grounds, overlooking the waters Lymm Dam. It is dedicated to the memory of those of Lymm who fell in the two world wars, but it does not give their names.

Inside the church are three brass plaques which do give the names. There is a plaque each for the First and Second World Wars, and one for a casualty, in 1978, in Crossmaglen, Northern Ireland
